The new arrests of members of the police who are suspected of helping members of the drug mafia in BiH in smuggling enormous amounts of narcotics proved a serious problem in BiH police structures and a strong connection between police officers and criminals, reports "Avaz".

He knew everything

New in the series of people arrested on suspicion of being a member of the drug gang of Milan Matković, a drug dealer from Trebinje, is the police officer of the MUP of HNK Miroslav Čalija.

As "Avaz" published, he was arrested the day before yesterday in Mostar, together with former police officer Dražen Šiniković.

However, Čalija and Šiniković are two of the dozen arrested police officers in Bosnia and Herzegovina who were discovered after the decryption of the Sky application. Šiniković was Matković's key man, in charge of police-prosecutor work.

The truth started coming to light with the arrest of Bojan Cvijetić in the "Transporter" operation, the advisor of Dragan Mektić, former Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who also had confidential ISA information with him.

Together with them, Mladen Milanović, a member of the RS MUP, was also arrested.

In less than no time, after decrypted messages on the Sky application, the border policeman Vladan Kovačević was also arrested. Recently, a member of the Border Police, Miloš Lukajić, as well as the head of the ISA in Banja Luka, Robert Radonjić, were deprived of their liberty on suspicion of giving secrets to criminals. In addition to him, Nedeljko Lubura, chief inspector of the MUP of the RS, was also arrested.

Lubura transferred the criminal Ivan Mijatović, who is wanted by Interpol, in the trunk of an official vehicle from Slovenia to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Operation "Pigeon"

"Avaz" was told that members of the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies (DKPT) of BiH, Miloš Nikolić and Miloš Popovac, were also arrested due to their ties to criminals and drug trafficking.

Who is a judicial helper?

According to the order of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, two months ago the judge from Bijeljina, Jovan Savić, who was providing information to criminals, was also arrested.

The Prosecutor's Office of BiH recently announced that the arrested Elvis Keljmendi had contacts with individuals in BiH judiciary.
