During the activities within Coca-Cola's project 'Recycle me. Give me a new life.' at this year's Sarajevo Film Festival, more than 19 tons of waste for recycling, such as plastic packaging, cans, paper and glass, have been separated and collected in eight days, and almost 77 tons of mixed waste were collected and deposited, the company announced.

During the Festival, 30 of the busiest locations in the city were equipped with Coca-Cola containers for separate waste collection.

The utility company "Rad" was hired for the collection and removal of waste, and the company "Ekopak" will take care of the recycling of plastic packaging and other collected recyclable materials. The results clearly indicate, as pointed out, that citizens are willing and ready to change their habits and sort waste so that it can be recycled.

One of the strategic commitments of Coca-Cola in Bosnia and Herzegovina are clearly set goals related to reducing the impact on the environment.

"Recycle me. Give me a new life." and other projects like 'From source to sea' are environmental initiatives through which the company achieves these socially responsible goals.
