Repeated elections in Doboj and Srebrenica on Sunday

Repeated elections in Doboj and Srebrenica will be held on Sunday, February 21st, the Central Election Commission of B&H (BiH CEC) reminded today.

The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina has decided to hold repeated elections for the Mayor of Doboj and the Assembly of Doboj at 89 polling stations and the Mayor of Srebrenica and the Assembly of Srebrenica at 28 polling stations (26 regular polling stations and two absentee polling stations in Gradačac and Živinice).

Polling stations will be open from 07:00 to 19:00.

Electoral silence begins on Saturday, February 20th, 2021 at 07.00 and lasts until the closing of polling stations, or until 19.00 on Sunday, February 21st.

In accordance with Article 14.1 of the Election Law of B&H, repeated elections are conducted on the basis of the same candidate lists and the same excerpts from the Central Voters' Register that were used in the annulled elections.

At 89 regular polling stations in the repeated elections in the City of Doboj, 427 presidents and members of polling stations and the same number of their deputies were appointed, while at 26 regular polling stations in Srebrenica 108 presidents and members of polling stations and the same number of their deputies were appointed, and a special Covid-19 mobile team with three members was appointed.

Members of polling boards were also appointed at two absentee polling stations for Srebrenica, in Gradačac and Živinice.

50,615 voters have the right to vote in the repeated elections at 89 polling stations in Doboj.

10,002 voters have the right to vote at 26 regular polling stations in Srebrenica, and 437 voters at two absentee polling stations in Gradačac and Živinice, B&H CEC announced.
