The first drive-through testing site for coronavirus was opened today in Sarajevo in the parking lot near the Suada and Olga Bridge.

Sarajevo Canton Health Minister Haris Vranić said the drive-through testing site was set up according to all standards for epidemiological sampling for coronavirus testing.

-All those who have a referral from a general practitioner for testing can come, which is especially convenient for people who have difficulty moving. The test results will be ready in six to eight hours, but never more than 24 hours- Minister Vranić pointed out.

He stressed that there has been an increase in the number of newly infected and that in the next few days the Ministry will take adequate epidemiological measures and perhaps tighten restrictive measures.

The Prime Minister of the Sarajevo Canton, Edin Forto, said that they had initiated activities related to the procurement of a minimum of 100,000 vaccines against COVID-19, and once again appealed to the state level to procure vaccines and start mass vaccination.
