Sequencing of the virus was conducted at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Sarajevo, and a strain that has not been registered in B&H so far has been established.

23 samples were sequenced, 20 of them successfully, and one of them is the British strain, said, among other things, Goletić.

This strain has been confirmed in 75 countries so far, and South African in 35 countries. Also, the British strain of coronavirus has minimal impact on vaccines produced to date.
