Zoran Tegeltija, Chairman of the B&H Council of Ministers, said at a press conference today that the procedure for electing the ISA B&H director was initiated on the basis of a proposal to replace him with Bisera Turkovic, the B&H Foreign Minister, who is authorized to do so.

However, as he explained, this procedure is quite complicated and demanding from the point of view of the joint commission of the Parliament of B&H and the Presidency participating in it.

- We initiated that procedure. In the meantime, while the procedure was going on, proceedings were initiated against the director of ISA, and then the indictments were confirmed. Accordingly, once the indictments have been confirmed, the person who has the indictment cannot be appointed. I stopped the procedure of appointing the director and informed the proposer (Turković, op. Cit.), who proposed the current director for that position (Osman Mehmedagić, op. Cit.). Their position is that they will wait for the end of the trial to possibly change their decision because they believe that the gentleman is not responsible for what the Prosecutor's Office of B&H is charging him with at the moment before the Court of B&H - says Tegeltija.
